Omega Celebrates 1400th Cummins Engines And Counting!

18 December 2019

Last week Cummins Asia Pacific and Omega celebrated a partnership milestone with the 1400th Cummins engine fitted in an omega lift truck!

The Omega team know what it takes to design a heavy truck to handle tough Australian conditions – and the USA made Cummins engines fits the mould. Born out of our factory in Sydney NSW, Omega has constantly refined componentry and technology with a wealth of knowledge and experience and won’t accept anything but the best for our customers.

The 1400th Cummins engine is a Cummins QSC220 electronic engine fitted in an Omega 36D Heavy Forklift and is now ready to be delivered to an eager customer, Fiji Waters.

The Omega 36D forklift has a 32T lifting capacity and is designed with heavy duty uprights, hydraulics, components and chassis to lift heavy loads in consistently high-cycle applications. Models are rated to full lift height with side-shift fork positioner, ensuring maximum stability and residual capacity in heavy duty applications.

For Omega, aligning with Cummins engines is the perfect choice. Proven quality, reliability in the field and innovation typify both brands and the products they manufacture.

Omega trucks are designed and manufactured in Australia by Clark Equipment, with over 50 years’ experience in the design, manufacture and support of heavy materials handling equipment. Whether you require a truck to handle the intensity of round-the-clock applications within a port or all the way in the outback, our trucks are built smart, built tough and built here.
